THE PLOT:
A doctor and his family has come to a small island to investigate stranges rumors and the health of the
native people of the island. But they find a world of supersition and human sacrifice. It seams a strange beast
that comes out only at night and rape women, the kind of rape that leaves them in many tiny pieces, the kind of rape no one
has survived.
Investigating the beast they discover that the island flora and fawna transforms at night, into monsters.
The Doctor believes that a local scientist is behind the monstrous mutants and he himself is the BEAST OF BLOOD ISLAND.
But confincing the natives of the truth will not be easy and stopping the doctor may prove fatal.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
This is an interesting concept, not unique but still interesting. They could also called it Jekyll
and Hyde of Blood Island. Now the costume, the monster costume was good, I liked the way they based the face of the
monster on the face of the actor who played him in human form. But it was kind of plastic looking, you know, too shiny
to be quite real. But that is my only major issue with the movie, the writing and the other effects were great, the
monster butterfly and the killer trees. All first rate!

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd on the monster suit issue, but that's not the only issue I have with BEAST OF BLOOD ISLAND.
The other problem I had with it is the natives, they had allot of nerves locking up and threatening to kill people that only
wanted to help, if it was me, I would have gone home and took a nap. Let Dr. Lorca rip the girls to pieces and the
natives go instinct, for all I care.
I GIVE IT...6 STARS
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+STORY (If it is bascally Jekyll and Hyde on a tropical island)
+ACTING (I think for what it was, the acting was pretty good)
+MONSTER FACE (Zedd liked the way the monster kinda looked like the actor)
+MONSTER DESIGN (Dispite the costume problem, I liked the monster design)
+TREE AND BUTTERFLY EFFECTS (We both liked the butterfly and killer tree effects)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
-MONSTER COSTUME (The costume looked to much like a costume)
AND FINALLY:
-NAUGHTY NATIVES (The natives had no right to treat people who only there to help like scum)
