The small desert farming town is plagued by odd animal deaths, tox screenings find spider vemon and almost all the blood gone.
This is a baffling mystery but the answer comes to life as crazed tarantulas go on a rampage due to heavy pest aside doing
two things, killing off their food supply and making them sick, crazy.
The Tarantulas are not acting like they do, they're organized and they are agressive to the point of lethal.
I got to be honest, I'm not really a fan of the "when animals attack" genre which was pretty big in the 1970s' and
ordinary sized spiders don't make me jump and scream for more. But there is a likable quality in Kingdom of the Spiders, William
Shatner does a great job playing Rack. The spiders are kind of cool for ordinary spiders and the story works for the most
part. I like the echo message that a lot of these animal attack movies had and I do believe something like this can happen
if the balance of nature is destroyed like it happens here. So I have to say I don't hate it but I don't love it either. So,
if you like William Shatner or love spider movies, then watch Kingdom of the Spiders. 7 STARS
I do agree with Zedd on some points, but however it is cleverer then Zedd gives it credit for. It has a great cast, steller
story and a pretty cool ending without giving anything away. It's a buried treasure. 9 STARS.
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ STORY (VOLTRON loves the story.)
+ CAST (The cast does a great job.)
+ ACTION (Not dull.)
+ SPIDERS (The spiders are kind of cool.)
+ REALISTIC (The plot is possible.)
+ ECHO MESSAGE (The echo message works.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- ANIMAL ATTACKS (When animal attacks genre isn't my favorite.)
- FAN BASED (If you aren't big on William Shatner or spiders, then this isn't the movie for you.)
