THE PLOT:
The House of Wax owned by master wax artist Professor Henry Jarrod catches on fire and he is placed in a wheel chair, but
with the opening of his new House of Wax years later leaves police to suspect foul play as there are several unexplained people
disappearing in the area of the House Of Wax.
But in order to find the truth, the Police must find the evidence to link Jarrod to the murders in this turn of the century
terror piece.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
I got to admit, for a normal guy that's insane this is one of my favorite in that genre. Vincent Price does a wonderful job
as the scared and insane Henry Jarrod. I didn't even knew that was Charles Bronson the first time I saw it when I was a kid.
It was creepy, it was scary. It had cheesy 3-D effects, but hey, what's perfect. It was kind of slow at points, but with a
blending of horror and film noir. This is a masterpiece and if you are fan of Vincent Price and you haven't seen this one
yet, then watch it. The effects are great, the acting is great, the spooky atmosphere is great, it's an almost perfect movie.
De Toth does a great job as a director. I am amazed how cool and realistic the make up effects are considering how old the
movie is, 8 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I couldn't agree more, but I think I liked this alittle more then Zedd did. This is a true classic in every sense of the
word and in a world a crap modern horror movies that just torture the victims as well as the audenence, it's the classics
that I turn to. Maybe the director of Saw can learn something from De Toth? But I doubt it. 9 STARS.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ COOL (It is major cool movie.)
+ FAN BASED (A must see for all Price fans.)
+ EFFECTS (Killer effects.)
+ STORY (Slow at times, but works.)
+ CHARACTERS (The characters are well written.)
+ FRIGHTS (Today's directors can learn something, a movie can be scary without be disturbing.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- SLOW (It does get slow at places.)
...AND FINALLY...
- FAN BASED (If you aren't a fan of horror movies or Vincent Price, then this isn't for you.)
