THE PLOT:
Mild mannered nerd Janitor Melvin was never well liked at the health club he worked at, he had a habit of saying the wrong
thing at the wrong time. But four friends who has the nasty habit of playing a lethal game of hit and run plays a creul prank
on Melvin.
With tears blinding him, Melvin flies out of the top floor window into a vat of toxic waste sitting in a truck parked
right outside. The radioactive waster transforms Melvin to a creature of Superhuman Size and strenth.
Plus Melvin now the Toxic Avenger has an urge to fight evil where ever it stands, just the thing this city needs, for
the Major is selling out Tromaville's future and turning the whole city into one huge toxic waste dump.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
This is a great classic film. The action, the horror, the humor all clicks. I think there was some taste issues with the
humor. But I think they went a tad over the top with the violence. Anyway, a great classic movie but not one for the weak
of stomach.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd, the taste issue was a downer for me. I also thought some of the minor characters acting could have been
better. But that can't hurt a classic like this. Toxie kills the bad guys in gory and amusing ways.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ TOXIC AVENGER (The design is so hideous, he's cute)
+ CLEVER PLOT (The plot is clever and I could watch it again and again)
+ HUMOR (The dark humor is very, very funny)
+ WRITING (The writing was right on the ball)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- ACTING (Voltron thought some of the minor actors could have done a better job)
- VIOLENCE (It got a little too violent at times)
AND FINALLY:
- GORE (If you have a weak stomach, then perhaps you shouldn't watch it on a full stomach)
